Nerve Surgery

Children can develop nerve problems, as a complication from birth or part of trauma/burns/accidents and post surgery. The nerve affected might be the full roots and trunks from the neck, or individual nerves, causing a significant loss of function.

At our centre, we have the full team of neurologists, radiology with MRI scan, and the option of nerve exploration, release, nerve transfers and nerve grafts to  restore hand function. Post surgery, the rehabilitation team will work closely with the child, to restore strength and confidence to return normal function
